Welcome to React Aligarh — a learning and project-driven platform built for students, developers, and builders in Aligarh and beyond. We are a community where members collaborate on real projects, share their progress publicly, participate in structured roadmaps, and grow through peer learning and mentorship.

By accessing or using React Aligarh's platform, website, Discord server, or any associated community spaces, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. Please read them carefully.

To participate in React Aligarh, you must meet the following requirements:

• You must be at least 13 years of age, or meet the minimum legal age in your country or region.
• You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information when registering or participating.
• Your account is personal and should not be shared with or transferred to another person.
• You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.
• If you are under 18, you confirm that a parent or legal guardian has reviewed and agreed to these terms on your behalf.

As a member of React Aligarh, you agree to uphold a high standard of conduct and take responsibility for your actions within the community.

You agree to:

• Use the platform and all community spaces respectfully and professionally.
• Communicate constructively — critique ideas, not people.
• Give proper credit when referencing others' work, code, or ideas.
• Report issues, bugs, or inappropriate behaviour through appropriate channels.
• Maintain honest and transparent communication with community members and team.

You must NOT:

• Post harmful, abusive, offensive, defamatory, or illegal content.
• Submit plagiarised work as your own — academic or professional.
• Misuse or abuse community resources, tools, or platforms.
• Impersonate any person, member, mentor, or team representative.
• Engage in spamming, phishing, or any form of digital abuse.
• Promote personal business, services, or unrelated content without permission.

We believe in empowering builders. Your work belongs to you.

• You retain full ownership of all projects, code, designs, and content you create.
• React Aligarh does not claim ownership of any user-generated content.
• By publicly sharing your work within the community (e.g., Discord, leaderboard, showcases), you grant React Aligarh a non-exclusive, royalty-free permission to feature and showcase your work for community-building and promotional purposes — with proper credit to you.
• You may withdraw your content by requesting removal through our support channels.
• Content shared in private channels or project workspaces remains confidential and will not be shared externally without your consent.

React Aligarh is committed to maintaining a safe, inclusive, and respectful environment for all members, regardless of background, skill level, or identity.

We have zero tolerance for:

• Harassment, bullying, or intimidation of any kind — in public or private channels.
• Discrimination based on gender, religion, caste, ethnicity, nationality, disability, or any other characteristic.
• Targeted personal attacks, threats, or hostile language directed at any individual.
• Sharing or distributing explicit, violent, or disturbing content.
• Doxxing — sharing private or personal information of another person without consent.

We encourage:

• Constructive, specific, and kind feedback when reviewing others' work.
• Asking questions without fear of judgment — no such thing as a stupid question.
• Celebrating others' wins as much as your own.
• Welcoming newcomers and helping them settle into the community.

The React Aligarh name, logo, branding, visual design, written content, and all associated materials are the intellectual property of React Aligarh.

• You may not use our logo, name, or brand identity for commercial purposes without written permission.
• You may not create derivative works based on React Aligarh's branding or present yourself as an official representative without authorisation.
• Educational sharing, attribution, and non-commercial references (e.g., mentioning React Aligarh in a blog post or resume) are permitted and encouraged.
• All original tutorials, roadmaps, and platform content created by the React Aligarh team are protected and may not be reproduced or republished without credit.

React Aligarh is a community-driven learning platform. While we strive to provide the best possible guidance, resources, and mentorship, we make no guarantees about specific outcomes.

• React Aligarh does not guarantee employment, job placement, income, or any specific professional outcome as a result of participation.
• The platform is provided 'as is' without warranties of any kind, expressed or implied.
• React Aligarh is not liable for any direct, indirect, or consequential losses arising from use or misuse of the platform or its content.
• Links to external resources, tools, or third-party platforms are provided for convenience — we are not responsible for their content or availability.
• Decisions made based on community guidance, mentorship, or platform content are solely the responsibility of the individual.

React Aligarh reserves the right to suspend, restrict, or permanently remove any account or member that violates these Terms of Service or the Code of Conduct.

• Termination may occur with or without prior warning depending on the severity of the violation.
• Repeated minor violations may result in cumulative action up to and including removal.
• Removed members may request a review by contacting our support team — decisions are at our discretion.
• You may also delete your own account at any time. Existing public contributions may remain visible unless you request their removal.
• Upon termination, your access to platform resources, dashboards, and community channels will be revoked.

We may update these Terms of Service from time to time to reflect changes in our platform, community, or applicable law.

• When significant changes are made, we will notify the community via our Discord server or official channels.
• The date of the latest revision will always be visible at the top of this page.
• Continued use of the platform after changes are published constitutes your acceptance of the updated terms.
• If you disagree with any updates, you may discontinue use of the platform and request account deletion.
